Cast Announced for Over the River and through the Woods!

Here is the cast for the July play “Over the River and Through the Woods”, directed by Teresa Rankin McGriff, which can be seen on the Northland stage July 18th-21st!

Mike Mattocks – Nick Castiano
Paul Tandberg – Frank Gianelli
Diane Krause – Aida Gianelli
Scott Pream – Nunzio Castiano
Kristi Hanson – Emma Castiano
Alyssa Novak – Caitlin O’Hare

Written by Joe DiPietro of I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change fame. This heart-warming family comedy will entertain audiences of all ages: “Nick is a single, Italian-American guy from New Jersey. His parents retired and moved to Florida. That doesn’t mean his family isn’t still in Jersey. In fact, he sees both sets of his grandparents every Sunday for dinner. This is routine until he has to tell them that he’s been offered a dream job. The job he’s been waiting for—marketing executive—would take him away from his beloved, but annoying, grandparents. He tells them. The news doesn’t sit so well. Thus begins a series of schemes to keep Nick around. How could he betray his family’s love to move to Seattle for a job, wonder his grandparents? Well, Frank, Aida, Nunzio, and Emma do their level best, and that includes bringing to dinner the lovely—and single—Caitlyn O’Hare as bait…we won’t give the ending away here.”

Looking for an Older Male Actor

We are asking for your help finding an actor. We are looking for an “older” man (50s-70s) for the play “Over the River and Through the Woods.” It’s a wonderful, funny, heart-warming, family-focused show. Did I mention it’s funny?

The show dates are July 18-21. If you are interested or know someone who is, please email the director Teresa Rankin-McGriff at mcgriffs101312@gmail.com.

Thank you so much and thanks for spreading the word. This is a great opportunity for an older actor!
