Tickets are now available for Peter Pan!

Peter Pan will be running from July 5th through July 15th, 2021.

Current guidance from the State and NCTC as of June 2nd is that our performances will be limited to 25% capacity, which is approximately 45-50 seats. As a result, we will give the families of the participants the first priority in seating. If any seats remain, we will open them to the general public.

As we have learned throughout the year, these guidelines can change at a moment’s notice. So, please stay tuned to our Facebook page, local media outlets, and the TRFACT website for more details. We will update information as soon as we have it available.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to navigate these guidelines.

The STAR program, now in its 6th year, is a summer program dedicated to the youth in the region.  Tuition-based and by audition, participants receive one-on-one and small group instruction in voice, acting, and dance, as well an introduction to topics such as stage etiquette, direction, theater vocabulary, improvisation, diction, and more.

NOTICE: Due to COVID-19 and our agreements with Northland Community and Technical College and United Methodist Church, pandemic protocols will be mandatory in both facilities, requiring all who enter to wear masks and to social distance.

Because of limited audience numbers, we will stream the shows for those who like through an online site. Stay tuned for more information regarding streaming in the near future.

Anything Goes Audition Script

While the dialogue does not have to be memorized, it’s a good idea to practice it aloud until you can say the lines easily and with expression. Don’t be shy! Research the characters a bit and try to add character!
SYNOPSIS: This is a one-hour adaptation of ANYTHING GOES that is a wacky shipboard farce featuring romance, intrigue, colorful characters and a glorious score from Cole Porter. Highlights include: “You’re The Top,” “It’s De-Lovely,” “Friendship,” “I Get A Kick Out Of You,” “Blow, Gabriel, Blow,” and the title number.

Character Breakdown:

  • BILLY CROCKER is the show’s leading young man with stars in his eyes and a sweet, earnest disposition. He gets in a ton of trouble in pursuit of love.
  • RENO SWEENEY is the show’s leading lady. She is foremost an entertainer and can command attention just by walking through the door. Reno enjoys the spotlight and easily makes friends with everyone she meets.
  • Reno’s four ANGELS are a pack of ladies with the vocal and dance stylings to back up Reno. Entertainers by profession, the Angels are filled to the brim with talent, sass, and charisma.
  • MRS. EVANGELINE HARCOURT is Hope’s overbearing mother who truly wants the best for her daughter and herself, and she will go to whatever lengths necessary to make sure she doesn’t end up poor.
  • HOPE HARCOURT is the perfect mixture of poise and properness befitting her upper-class status. While she does care about her place in society, love is what motivates her in the long run.
  • LORD EVELYN OAKLEIGH is a British gentleman betrothed to Hope Harcourt.  He may come off a bit stiff, but underneath this proper exterior is a generous man looking for excitement.  He is very much a character!
  • MOONFACE MARTIN is a gangster who is on the run (as usual). Moonface may not be the smartest person in the world, but when he commits to an idea, he sticks to it.
  • ERMA is Moonface Martin’s partner in crime. Erma is certainly not intimidated by Moonface’s gangster reputation.
  • The show features many OTHER CHARACTERS aboard the ship. It is full of vivid characters, including featured PASSENGERS, REPORTERS, PHOTOGRAPHERS, FBI AGENTS, and more.
