Step into the spotlight with TRFACT’s Adult Acting & Theater Workshops! These workshops are designed for adults of all experience levels. Across 4 sessions, participants will explore stage fundamentals, character development, and scene work, guided by experienced directors and performers. Each workshop blends hands-on activities with practical insight into the art of theater, helping you build confidence, creativity, and ensemble skills. Discover the joy of storytelling and performance in a supportive, fun environment.
Each session is led by experienced local theater artists and builds toward a deeper understanding of performance:
Session 1 – Acting Basics with Megan Maloney
Stage directions, projecting, entrances and exits, script notation, and theater terminology. Perfect for absolute beginners or as a refresher.
Session 2 – Taking It Further with Rob Burkel
Explore scene work, movement, and more advanced performance skills.
Session 3 – Character Work with Julie Kaiser
Learn how to bring a character to life with voice, physicality, and imagination.
Session 4 – Directing & the Bigger Picture with Jane Anderson
Discover how directors shape a production and how actors and directors collaborate.
