Little Shop of Horrors is a delectable sci-fi horror musical with an electrifying 1960s pop/rock score by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman. Seymour Krelborn is a meek and dejected assistant at a floral shop who happens upon a strange plant, which he affectionately names “Audrey II” after his crush at the shop. Little does he know that this strange and unusual plant will develop a soulful R&B voice, a potty mouth, and an unquenchable thirst for HUMAN BLOOD. As Audrey II grows bigger and meaner, the carnivorous plant promises limitless fame and fortune to Seymour, as long as he continues providing a fresh supply of blood. Just when it’s too late, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s extra-terrestrial origins and his true drive for world domination.
When: February 20 & 21 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 22 from 10:00-noon
Where: Northland College Theater; 1101 Highway One East, Thief River Falls
What: Sing a song of your choice accompanied and perform a short monologue (see link below).
Performances are scheduled for June 4, 5, 6 and 9,10, 11, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.

CRYSTAL - (Female, teenage+) part of the sassy Urchin trio who serve as a Greek Chorus at times.
RONNETTE - (Female, teenage +) part of the sassy Urchin trio who serve as a Greek Chorus at times.
CHIFFON - (Female, teenage +) part of the sassy Urchin trio who serve as a Greek Chorus at times.
MR. MUSHNIK - (Male, 40s+) Old-Fashioned, a little embittered & monetarily obsessed. **This role can be switched from a Male to Female if we needed**
AUDREY - (Female, 20s-40s) Leading role. Genuine & sweet, very low opinion of herself. Endearing.
SEYMOUR - (Male, 20s-40s) Lead role. Nerdish & naive. A good guy, but awkward.
WINO #2 - (any gender, any age) Will be combined with other small roles.
CUSTOMER #1 - (any age, any gender) Will be combined with other small roles.
INTERVIEWER - (any age, any gender) Will be combined with other small roles.
ORIN - (Male, 30s-50s) Sadistic dentist. Egotistical pretty boy. **Usually, this role is combined with others, some of which will require dressing in Drag**
BERENSTEIN - (any gender, any age) Slick shot TV exec.
Mrs. LUCE - (Female, 40s+) Society ma'am.
SKIP SNIP - (Male, any age) Greasy Agent.
PATRICK MARTIN - (Male, any age) Sleazy Businessman.
VOICE for Plant - (any gender, any age) Off-stage voice work only. Funky, street-smart, conniving, charismatic. Will work closely with the PUPPETEER.
PUPPETEER for Plant - (any gender, any age) Needs to be somewhat strong. will work closely with VOICE.

Seymour, a meek floral assistant, dreams of escaping the grind of Skid Row. Then, he stumbles upon a strange new plant with a taste for BLOOD. This carnivorous creature, named "Audrey II" after his co-worker muse, promises fame and fortune to Seymour in exchange for a gruesome diet. But as Audrey II grows larger and more demanding, Seymour finds himself trapped in a terrifying web of deceit and danger. Can he survive the plant's insatiable hunger and uncover the chilling truth about its origins?
